It was an action-packed
evening in New Orleans as former UFC fighter Tim Credeur faced Aaron Davis in a
235-pound no-gi match.
The two heavyweights kept the
match on the feet for the first few minutes and were content with wrestling for
top position. Near the six-minute mark, Credeur sat to guard where he faced
relentless pressure from Davis.
Credeur was forced to turtle
multiple times but Davis was unable to capitalize on the position at any point.
Davis showed tremendous top
pressure and noteworthy wrestling, but the few submission attempts from Credeur
were enough to get the victory.
The
three judges unanimously scored it to Credeur after the 10-minute round was
over.
