Ukrainians conquered Budapest!

The “Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Hungarian Open Budapest” championship took place in Budapest, Hungary on November, 17. This competition was held for the 14^th year in a row! Athletes from many countries, including fighters from Ukraine, showed their jiu-jitsu skills.

The Ukrainian sportsmen from the “ZR Team Ukraine” have joined their efforts and got the 3^rd team place at the championship!

Athletes Nikolai Tserkovnyi and Alexander Mazurenko won gold in the Gi category. In addition, Alexander Sokol got a silver medal in his weight and gold in absolute, and Serhii Paziurystyi received one silver medal. Both athletes also performed in the Gi. 

Moreover, Ukrainian fighter Daniil Pihul managed to win 4 medals in the championship! In the Gi category he won gold in his weight and bronze in the absolute, and in the No-Gi category sportsman got two more gold medals!

Ukrainians proved one more time they are one of the strongest rivals.

Ukrainian sportsmen in Paris!

Ukrainian fighters from “ZR Team Association” have honorably represented their country at the “Paris Fall International Open IBJJF Jiu-Jitsu Championship” recently. International sports event was held on November 24-25 in Paris (France).

According to the results of the championship, the blue belt Maxim Aminov won the gold medal in his weight and silver in the absolute weight in the No-Gi category.

In the Gi category, Vitalii Oziumenko won gold both in his weight and in absolute, Pavel Bushkov took gold in his weight, and Oleg Ishchuk won the bronze medal in the lightweight.

Ukrainians are ready to compete in Berlin

The international jiu-jitsu championship “Berlin International Open IBJJF Jiu-Jitsu Championship 2018” will take place in Germany soon. Ukrainian sportsmen also will take part in this prestigious tournament!

Four Ukrainian fighters from the SC “Borets” / ZR Team will perform at the championship this year. Yaroslav Blazhko will fight at the featherweight, Roman Nepota – at the middleweight. Both fighters will compete in the purple belt category. Also this year two more sportsmen from the “Borets” club will fight at the championship. Breno Peterson (brown belt) and Wallace Henrique, the black belt owner, will show their skills on the sports arena.  

In total, the championship will gather sportsmen from all over the world. All of them will perform in three age categories: juniors, adults, and masters.

The championship will take place on December 1^st in Berlin. This competition is organized by the IBJJF and will be held under its rules.

Brazilian jiu-jitsu seminar in Kiliya

The two-day BJJ seminar will be held from 15 to 16 December in Kiliya city, Odessa region, Ukraine.

Wallace Henrique, the black belt owner from Brazil, will hold the seminar. 27-years-old sportsman owns a lot of titles, and the title of the champion of Brazil is among them.

The sports seminar will take place at the SC “Achilles”. The organizers of the seminar invite everyone to take part in the event and discover something new in the world of the Brazilian jiu-jitsu!

For the first time ever Ukrainian fighter at the «Copa Podio»!

Great news! For the first time ever, representative of Ukraine, 13-year-old Igor Tenenyk from the SC “Borets” team, will take part in the prestigious jiu-jitsu championship of the “Copa Podio” organization. 

Participants from 13 countries will compete in the “Orange World League” series. The first stage of the championship will be held in February 2019 in Sao Paulo, Brazil. 16 participants will be divided into 4 groups. Sportsmen will fight with each other, and in the end, 2 fighters with the biggest amount of points will meet in the semifinals.

“Copa Podio” tournaments were one of the pioneering professional jiu-jitsu promotions. These tournaments showed to the world such well-known sportsmen as Leandro Lo, Joao Gabriel Rocha, Tim Spriggs, Rodolfo Vieira, Victor Honorio, Travis Stevens, Felipe Preguica and many others.

Sportsmen of the SC “Borets” took gold in Khmelnytskyi!

 

The “Khmelnytskyi Open Jiu-Jitsu Championship 2018” was held in Ukraine recently. Ukrainian fighters from the SC “Borets”/ ZR Team honorably represented their club at the sports arena.

Juniors Serhii Krasovskyi, Daniil Kuropiatnyk, Ihor Tenenyk and Serhii Rusnak took all gold in their weight categories. Moreover, SC “Borets” fighters took gold in the absolute category of the championship!

One more time young sportsmen showed their excellent skills and competitive spirit. 

The championship was held on November 10^th at the SK “Epitsentr” in Khmelnytskyi city. The competition was organized by the Ukrainian Federation of the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and the Khmelnytskyi Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation.
