Forthcoming “Nikolaev open BJJ Championship”

 

The “Nikolaev open BJJ Championship” will start on November 10^th. The competition will take place in the sports gym SC “Nadezhda”, in Nikolaev city.

Fighters of different ages across four categories adults (men and women), masters and juvenile (4-17) are welcomed to participate. Closing date for applications is set on November 5^th.

The championship is held under the “ATOS UKRAINE” club and the Nikolaev regional jiu-jitsu association authority.

The “Khmelnytskyi Bjj Autumn Cup 2018” results

The “Khmelnytskyi Bjj Autumn Cup 2018” has taken place in Khmelnytskyi city on October 20^th.

Annual competition gathered about 100 sportsmen from Khmelnytskyi region. Jiu-jitsu fighters performed in 25 categories, including athletes from 4 to 18+ years old. Overall, fighters took 75 gold medals in their categories, which were distributed by age, belt color and weight. Also, four experienced athletes received cups.

All fighters were pleased with the championship where they received valuable experience.

Ukrainians at the “Germany National Pro Jiu-Jitsu Championship”

 

The international championship “Germany National Pro Jiu-Jitsu Championship” was held in Berlin recently. On the 20^th of October fighters from all over the world gathered at the sports arena in Germany to show their skills!

Ukraine was represented at the championship by members of the “Atos Barcelona / Kiev Jiu-Jitsu” team. According to the participants, the competition was held at the highest level. Most of the athletes were young (18-20 years old), so the atmosphere turned out to be extremely crazy and driving.

All the members of the “Atos” team fought in the first round against the champions of their categories and even absolutes. Unfortunately, the Ukrainian athletes lost their fights. According to the coach, they clearly understood their mistakes. Furthermore, such loses will stimulate sportsmen to improve their skills.

Upcoming “Lutsk Open Jiu-Jitsu Championship 2018”

The “Lutsk Open Jiu-Jitsu Championship 2018” will be held in Lutsk city this Saturday.

Competitions are scheduled on October 27 and will take place in the territory of the Volyn Regional Lyceum with enhanced military-physical training. Athletes of different ages across three categories, juniors (4-17), youth (18+) and senior (35+) are welcome to participate.

The championship will be held under the Ukrainian Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation authority.

The organizers of the event emphasize that this championship will give all fighters a great opportunity to demonstrate their BJJ skills and enter into the spirit of the contest.

Serhii Krasovskyi conquered Geneva!

 

The “Geneva International Open IBJJF Jiu-Jitsu Championship” was held in Switzerland recently. A young athlete from the SC “Borets” / ZR Team Serhii Krasovskyi successfully showed himself on the international sports arena.

Serhii Krasovskyi defeated a highly technical and trained Brazilian sportsman at the championship. Despite the fact that the referee was on the opponent’s side, Serhii scratched out a victory right before the end of the fight. 

The athlete received deserved gold both in his weight and in the absolute category.

Ukrainian fighters brought gold from Geneva

Ukrainian sportsmen from SC “Borets”/ ZR Team performed at the “Geneva International Open IBJJF Jiu-Jitsu Championship”.

The competition took place at one of the sport complexes in Geneva, Switzerland. Ukrainian fighters managed to win 3 gold and 1 silver medals. Both sportsmen showed excellent skills and successfully performed in their weight categories. Thus, Serhii Krasovskyi won gold in absolute category among juniors. In turn, Yaroslav Blazhko won three matches and lost one in the final to the opponents who were 40kg heavier.

According to the head coach of the SC “Borets”/ ZR Team club Ievgen Skyda, he is pleased with the performance of his fighters. Ukrainian fighters at the “Geneva International Open IBJJF Jiu-Jitsu Championship”

The “Geneva International Open IBJJF Jiu-Jitsu Championship” will take place this weekend in Geneva, Switzerland.

The Ukrainian fighters of the SC “Borets” team Yaroslav Blazhko and Serhii Krasovskyi are also among the competitors.

The championship will take place in one of Geneva sport complexes and will be held under the policy of IBJJF.

The final stage of the “Ukrainian National Challenge 2018”

 

The Ukrainian National Jiu-Jitsu Championship “Ukrainian National Challenge 2018” is entering the final straight. The last stage of the championship will take place on December 1 in Kiev.

Let us recall, the “Ukrainian National Challenge 2018” is held under the guidance of the Ukrainian Federation of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (UFBJJ). This year’s championship consists of four stages. The first competition was held in Kharkov, the second and the third stages took place in Odessa and Lvov, and the final competition will be held in Kiev.

An official rating of the best Ukrainian Jiu-Jitsu sportsmen will be based on the results of this championship.

Fighters from SC “Borets”/ ZR Team at the “Abu Dhabi Grand Slam Los Angeles 2018”

Ukrainian sportsmen from SC “Borets”/ ZR Team performed at the “Abu Dhabi Grand Slam Los Angeles 2018” championship.

The event took place in LA on 22 September 2018. Young fighter of the SC “Borets”/ ZR Team Ukraine Serhii Krasovskyi faced with one of the best junior BJJ fighters, the IBJJF world champion of Brazil and Europe Eduardo Lima. In turn, the senior member of the ZR Team Ukraine Yaroslav Blazhko won bronze of the “Abu Dhabi Grand Slam Los Angeles 2018”.

Also, according to the results of the championship Ukrainian fighters took gold and two silvers among children and juniors.

Ukrainian fighters are ready for the “European IBJJF Jiu-Jitsu Championship 2019”

Ukrainian fighters from the SC “Borets” / ZR Team will travel to Lisbon, Portugal and take part in the international championship “European IBJJF Jiu-Jitsu Championship 2019”.

The tournament venue has been booked from 14^th to 20^th of January. This will be the 16^th edition of the IBJJF European Championship, a tournament that has been running since 2004.

Along with Brazilian Nationals and World Masters, fighters from the SC “Borets” / ZR Team Ukraine will represent own country at one of the biggest IBJJF tournaments of the year. Thus, Roman Nepota will perform in the blue belts category and Yaroslav Blazhko will perform in the category of purple belts, both in adult division.

At the present time, Ukrainian fighters train and share their knowledges together with sportsman from the Rio de Janeiro Breno Peterson who became part of the “Borets” sport family not so long ago. 

SC “Borets” fighters at the “Ternopil Open Jiu-Jitsu Championship 2018”

The “Ternopil Open Jiu-Jitsu Championship 2018” took place in Ternopil city on 6 October.

Sportsmen from the SC “Borets” (Kropivnitskiy city) also were among the competitors. 

At the end of the competition, the fighters of the Ukrainian SC “Borets” took gold in their weight divisions and in absolute division among juniors. 

The head coach of the club Ievgen Skyrda noted that the regional championship gladdened them with high professional competition and good management part.
