Registration for the 2018 Pan Championships closes now, but there is an analysis of the early entries and who may be joining the athlete list very soon.
European champion Koji Shibamoto has already thrown his hat in the ring in the rooster weight division, as has 2017 Pans finalist Marcio Andre. Rising black belt stars Johnny Tama and Renato Canuto have both signed up for the lightweight bracket.
Perhaps even more intriguing than the names on the list are those key figures who have yet to register. Below are the names of marquee athletes who have given us verbal confirmation of their intention to compete at Pans.
