The first stage of the “Ukraine National Challenge 2019”

Just in a few weeks, Ukrainian fighters will be able to show their BJJ skills during the first stage of the “Ukraine National Challenge 2019” championship!

The primary goal of the Ukrainian Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation (UFBJJ) is the maximum development of this sport. Therefore, starting from 2019, the No-Gi format (grappling without kimono) is introduced at tournaments. The “Ukraine National Challenge 2019” will last 2 days: the first day for competition in Gi, the second day for No-Gi. 

Competitions will take place on the territory of the “Galicia Sports Palace” in Lvov on March 2-3. The championship will be held under the IBJJF rules. Sportsmen of three age categories are welcomed to participate: juniors (16-17 years old), adults (18-29 years old), and Masters (30+ years old).

Participants who will take prize places will be awarded medals. Winners of the absolute categories will receive a certificate for $50.
