The “European IBJJF Jiu-Jitsu Championship” is one of
the most prestigious Brazilian jiu-jitsu championships in the world! It will
start on January 16th in Lisbon, Portugal.
The open IBJJF European Championship will last during
7 days and gather about 4 thousand participants from more than 100 countries. Best
Ukrainian fighters will also represent their country on the sport arena in
Odivelas city and compete for the main prize.
Yaroslav Blazhko, Roman Nepota, Ievgen Mitchenko,
Dmitriy Pernikoza and Ilya Makarenko are among the talented sportsmen who will
fiercely compete in adult division. Serhii Krasovskyi from the SC “Borets” will
fight for primacy with blue belts from Brazil and Europe. Participants must win
at least 7 fights in order to become the gold medallist.
